After our vibrant on-site event during the 20th Anniversary Symposium, it is our great
pleasure to cordially invite you to the 21st edition of our ZAGREB ENDO LIVE (Algorithms in
GI endoscopy, ERCP&EUS)!
Innovative disruptive technologies have brought significant progress in the field of
endoscopy and enabled advanced visualization and characterization of the mucosa,
transluminal procedures in endoscopic ultrasound, advanced endoscopic resection
techniques and endoscopy of the third space. These continuous forward moments are the
main reason this symposium was established 21 years ago. However, the focus of our
symposium is not only on advanced but also on basic endoscopy with the goal to highlight
almost all aspects of modern endoscopy in academic centers as well in community hospitals. By exchanging knowledge, experiences and adopting new technologies, we improve and standardize endoscopy practice in our community.
The format of the first day of the symposium was conceived through tips and tricks lectures in the field, learning with experts case-based sessions, panel discussions and hands-on
training. This year topics are oriented to role of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic
endoscopy in management of upper gastrointestinal disorders aimed at all generations of
gastroenterologists.
The second day features live endoscopy demonstrations. These sessions aim to demonstrate
most recent advances in GI endoscopy, EUS and ERCP coupled with insights from leading
experts in the field. Live demonstrations are patient oriented and consider evidence-based
medicine as well as experts' opinions. Live transmission of endoscopic procedures will take place from CHC Zagreb and CHC Split.
Our symposium is aimed at all generations of gastroenterologists, endoscopy nurses and
technicians, primary care physicians, surgeons and pathologists. With our varied program of
lectures, discussions and live video presentations, we provide an ideal professional learning
environment.
